Research profiles

The profile prototype records the topic, market, language, audience and research settings you enter, including an optional website or competitor domains. Drafts and saved revisions stay in your browser's local storage. You can export a profile as a JSON file. This public website does not read those profiles or accept research submissions.

Google data and permissions

The private Google Ads connection uses OAuth to obtain permission from the account holder. It reads accessible account identifiers and checks account access. When API access is approved, the research adapter can request keyword ideas and historical search-demand metrics using seed keywords, a market, a language and an optional website.

Google's Ads permission allows viewing and managing Ads accounts. The implemented research operations only read data; they do not create or enable ads, change campaign budgets, or modify billing. There is no Google authorization flow on this public website.

Storage and retention

The private research tool stores its OAuth refresh token encrypted for the operator's Windows user account. Research responses and evidence are saved in local files or a local database. They are kept until the operator removes them; there is no automatic retention period. Browser profiles remain until you clear that site's browser storage.

Use and sharing

Google receives the credentials and request parameters needed to authorize and answer API requests. SEOgenie uses the returned data for research and account-access checks. Google data is not sold, used for advertising, or sent to AI model providers. It is not used to train general-purpose AI models. The developer can access locally stored research data to operate and troubleshoot the tool.

SEOgenie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Website visitors

These pages load a locally hosted font and contain no analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies added by SEOgenie. The hosting provider processes network information, such as your IP address and requested URL, to serve and secure the site. Its own privacy and retention practices also apply.

Your controls

You can revoke the tool's authorization in your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access but does not remove research already saved locally. Contact the developer to request access to or deletion of information held by the private tool. You control browser-local profiles and any copies you export.
